đ Setup & play guideEverything you need to connect to this private PES6 server and start playing. đĨī¸ PC (Windows)
đšī¸ PCSX2 (emulator)
đ Real PS2 console
1 Create your accountGo to the signup page and register a username, password and email. Your account is active immediately -- no waiting, no email confirmation needed. 2 Point your PC to this server (one time only)Open Notepad as Administrator, then open this file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Add these two lines at the end of the file, then save: 203.171.21.184 pes6gate-ec.winning-eleven.net
203.171.21.184 we9stun.winning-eleven.net
â
That's it -- you never need to repeat this step. Every time you launch PES6, it will connect to this server automatically.
2 Configure PCSX2 network settings (one time only)PS2 has no hosts file, so instead we point its DNS to this server. In PCSX2:
Boot the PES6 PS2 ISO, go to the Online menu. If the game shows its own network configuration screen, keep it on Auto/DHCP -- do not enter settings manually there. â ī¸ If it still won't connect, open the game's network config screen again and reset it to Auto/DHCP -- it may have an old configuration saved on the virtual memory card.
2 Configure network settings on your real PS2 (one time only)A real PS2 has no hosts file either, and unlike an emulator nothing can auto-intercept its network settings -- you enter them by hand on the console itself. Open the network configuration screen (from the game disc or your network adaptor startup disc) and choose manual/custom setup, then fill in:
â ī¸ Exact menu wording varies by disc/BIOS version. If "Auto/DHCP" is available and your router lets you set a custom DNS server for just this device, that works too -- the important part is that Primary DNS ends up pointing at this server's IP.
Save the settings, then go to the Online menu in PES6 as usual. 3 Play
